Start with guests ÷ 50

One standard unit for every 50 guests covers a four-hour event. 150 guests = 3 units.

Add for a bar

Alcohol adds one unit for every five. 3 units with a bar becomes 4.

Add for long events

Every extra four hours adds half the base count. An 8-hour, 150-guest event needs 5.

Food means hand washing

One hand wash station for every two units, placed between the restrooms and the food.

Public event? 5% accessible
