How delivery to Corvallis from Bend works
Corvallis is reached on US-20 straight over Santiam Pass and through Albany, then OR-34, about 131 miles and 2 hours 50 minutes from Bend. Corvallis shares the Albany route day, so orders there are booked two to five business days out and serviced weekly on that day.
Corvallis orders that suit the route are Benton County Fair vendor units, da Vinci Days and Fall Festival banks, OSU-area construction and HP campus projects. Street events in Corvallis need a Public Works permit 30 days to six months ahead.
Permits and events in Corvallis
Corvallis Public Works requires a permit for any parade, race or special event on streets or sidewalks, applied for 30 days to six months ahead with an insurance certificate (541-766-6916), and a separate Right-of-Way Permit covers temporary use of the public right-of-way (541-766-6731, ROWpermits@corvallisoregon.gov).
Benton County regulates social gatherings of 300 to 3,000 people over 24 to 120 hours outside city limits under county code chapter 13, applied for 60 days ahead with sanitation stations on the site plan.
The Benton County Fair & Rodeo (first weekend of August, 110 SW 53rd St), da Vinci Days and the Corvallis Fall Festival in Central Park are the seasonal orders.
