How delivery to Eugene from Bend works

Eugene deliveries take OR-126 along the McKenzie River or OR-58 over Willamette Pass, about 116 to 128 miles from Bend. Dispatch chooses the pass each morning by ODOT TripCheck. Eugene orders are scheduled two to five business days out, and monthly units are serviced on that same weekday.

Eugene has the clearest city rule in Oregon: events of 250 or more need at least two portable toilets, one accessible. Event banks that meet that rule, plus monthly jobsite units, are the Eugene orders that justify the trip.

Eugene's portable toilet rule

The City of Eugene Special Event Planning Guide states that portable toilets are required for attendance of 250 or more, or for any event longer than six hours, with at least two portable toilets and at least one of them ADA accessible. Events are handled by Community & Cultural Affairs (541-682-5700).

Temporary private use of a street or sidewalk needs a Right-of-Way Use Permit from Building Permit Services at 99 W 10th Ave.

Our planning table adds one unit per 50 guests per four hours on top of the city minimum. The Lane County Fair (July 22–26, 2026) at the Lane Events Center, the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta (July) and the Eugene Marathon (late April) are the large seasonal orders.

Sewer, septic and rain

Eugene and Springfield share the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission system, while rural Lane County properties use septic permitted through the county's Subsurface Sanitation program. Eugene averages about 41 inches of rain with January lows near 35°F, so winter placements need a firm pad and antifreeze is rarely needed.

Questions people ask us before they book

What does Eugene require for a 300-person festival?

By city rule, at least two portable toilets with one ADA. By our planning table, six units for four hours. Order the larger count.

Which pass do you use in winter?

Whichever ODOT TripCheck shows clearer that morning; both Santiam and Willamette can post chains in storms.

Do you serve Springfield on the same trip?

Springfield has its own page and rides the same route day.

Is a single weekend unit worth ordering from Bend?

Usually not; a Eugene operator is closer. Four or more units, a trailer or a monthly rental is where we compete.
