Porta potty rental questions, answered the way we answer them on the phone
Every question below came from a real call to our Bend office. Answers first, conditions after.

Delivery, timing and the business
Are you actually in Bend, or a call center?
Tony Rental Works is based in Bend. The person who answers the phone builds the delivery routes. Nothing is brokered to another hauler.
I called a different number and reached a company that said they were in Bend, then said they did not service my ZIP. Why?
National brokers buy local-looking numbers and route calls to a central desk, then look for a hauler. When they cannot find one, they decline. We schedule our own routes, so the ZIP check is answered on the spot.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturday is a normal delivery and pickup day. Sunday is reserved for emergencies. Saturday and Sunday events are set Friday and picked up Monday at one price.
How soon do I need to book for a summer Saturday?
Two to three weeks for standard units; four to eight weeks for deluxe units and trailers in June through September. Jobsite units are usually available next day all year.
Can I reschedule the service visit because nobody will be there to open the gate?
Call the day before and we move your unit to the next day's route. A lockbox code on file means nobody has to be there at all.
Do you rent to homeowners or only businesses?
Both. About half of our weekend rentals and a third of monthly rentals are homeowners: remodels, septic failures, parties and guests.
What is included in the price?
The unit, delivery, pickup, stocking, and on 28-day rentals weekly service. Oregon has no sales tax. Extras (hand wash station, extra service, rush delivery) are separate lines you choose.
Is the porta potty clean when it arrives?
Every unit is pumped, pressure-washed, sanitized, deodorized and stocked before it goes out. Event units come from a separate group that never rotates through jobsites.
How do I get the unit picked up?
Call the number on your invoice. Pickup is within two business days and billing stops on the pickup date. Pickup is never automatic.
Do you sell porta potties?
No. We rent and service only. For purchase, PolyJohn and Satellite sell direct and through dealers.
Do you pump out porta potties that I own?
In Bend, we can add a customer-owned standard unit to a weekly route for a per-visit charge. Call with the model and address.
Do you rent dumpsters or fencing?
Portable restrooms only. We can point you to a local dumpster company if you ask.
Can I pay cash at delivery?
Card only, through the secure link on the invoice, before delivery. No cash, checks or payment apps at the truck.
Can I get a receipt for my tax-exempt church or school?
The invoice and receipt show the organization name you give us. Oregon charges no sales tax, so no exemption certificate is needed.
What happens if the unit is damaged or tipped?
Call and we reset or replace it the same day in Bend. Damage beyond normal use is photographed and billed at repair cost; a tipped unit on a windy site is usually just reset.
Do the units have lights?
No interior light. Clip-on solar lights are available on request for events after dark.
