Why a Saturday party gets Friday delivery and Monday pickup

Nearly every weekend caller asks the same thing: "Can you drop it Saturday morning and get it Sunday?" Here is why the answer is Friday and Monday, and why that is better for you.

Why not deliver Saturday morning?

Saturday routes are built that morning, so a 10 AM drop cannot be promised for a noon party. Friday delivery removes the risk, and the extra two days cost nothing because the weekend package is priced for the two truck trips, not the days in between.

Saturday and Sunday events get Friday delivery and Monday pickup for one flat weekend price. No weekend route fees.

Why is the price the same for one day and three?

The cost of a short rental is the delivery trip, the pickup trip, and the time to pump, wash and restock the unit. None of that changes whether the unit sits in your yard for six hours or three days.

Billing by the day would mean charging a two-hour event the same as a full weekend anyway, so the package is simply flat.

The same logic explains why we cannot discount a one-hour event: the hour was never what you were paying for.

What if nobody can be there Friday?

Nobody needs to be there. Put a cone or ribbon on the spot or email a photo, leave the gate unlocked or give dispatch the code, and keep dogs inside. The driver sets the unit, stocks it, photographs it and emails you the photo. Friday delivery for a Saturday event is the most common order we run.

Church offices with Thursday-only staff, rental homes and venues with Friday setups all work the same way; tell us the day someone will be there and we route around it.

What if the unit needs service during the weekend?

For events over about 50 people per unit, add a mid-event service visit at booking and a tech pumps and restocks the unit Saturday afternoon. Weekend units arrive washed, stocked and deodorized, so a backyard party of 40 needs no visit.

Sunday pickup is available on request for venues that turn over the same weekend; otherwise Monday morning, which also satisfies Bend Park & Recreation District's rule that event toilets leave the park within 24 hours.

Questions people ask us before they book

Can we pay less if we only use it Saturday?

The package is flat. One day and three days cost the same because the work is the two trips, not the hours.

Will the unit be clean after sitting Friday night?

The unit is sealed, stocked and deodorized at delivery. Overnight makes no difference; ask for a hasp if the site is public.

Our event is Sunday. Still Friday delivery?

Friday delivery and Monday pickup, same price. Sunday-only use is fine.

Can you pick up Sunday night?

On request for venues that need it, when a driver is available. Monday morning is standard.

Is a weekday event delivered the day before too?

For events with a start time, because we cannot promise a morning slot. A Tuesday event gets Monday delivery; pickup Wednesday.

Is Friday delivery really free?

The weekend package is one price. The extra days are not billed.
