County rules and The Expo
Jackson County has no county-specific mass gathering ordinance that we could locate, so Oregon's statewide rules apply outside the cities: seven toilets per 800 persons for gatherings over 3,000, serviced daily. Medford requires a city permit for events of 50 or more in the public right-of-way.
The Expo at 1 Peninger Rd in Central Point hosts the Jackson County Fair (July 14–19, 2026) and about 245 events a year.
Septic, heat and the route
Jackson County is a DEQ-administered county: rural septic permits go through the Oregon DEQ Medford office at 221 Stewart Ave, 541-776-6010, rather than a county department. Medford's July average high of 91.6°F means summer units get shade placement, extra deodorizer and twice-weekly service.
The route from Bend climbs OR-62 past Crater Lake or OR-140 past Lake of the Woods, both chain areas in winter.

Questions people ask us before they book
Where do I get a septic permit in Jackson County?
From the Oregon DEQ Medford office, not the county. We can have a unit on site while the permit is pending.
Do you serve Ashland and the Shakespeare-season events?
Ashland rides the Medford route day; book three weeks ahead for summer.
How do you handle August heat on a jobsite unit?
Shade placement, extra deodorizer and a second weekly visit for any crew over 10.
