How delivery to Sisters works
Tony Rental Works reaches Sisters on the west route out US-20, about 32 minutes from Bend. Next-morning delivery is standard, Friday setups cover Saturday weddings, and weekly service runs on the same route day. Highway 242 over McKenzie Pass is summer-only, so venues beyond the Sisters side of the pass are served from June to October.
Sisters sits at 3,189 feet with a January average high of 40.8°F and a record low of −28°F; 15 inches of precipitation falls mostly as winter snow. Antifreeze goes in every tank from November through March.
Permits and events in Sisters
The City of Sisters requires an event permit under Ordinance 500 for events on public property, tiered by attendance: small (25–75 people, $100 deposit), medium (76–250, $200), large (251 and up, $500) and city-wide ($2,000). Applications include a Deschutes County Public Health sign-off and, for street use, a right-of-way permit under Sisters Municipal Code 12.30.
Private ranch weddings outside city limits need no city permit.
The Sisters Rodeo (second week of June, since 1940), Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show (second weekend of July), Glory Daze car show (mid-July) and Sisters Folk Festival (weekend after Labor Day) are the big draws. Vendors and parking-lot hosts order units; the organizers contract banks.
Weddings at Sisters-area venues
A 150-guest ranch wedding near Sisters usually books four deluxe flushing units including one wheelchair-accessible unit, or a two-station restroom trailer plus one accessible unit, set Friday and picked up Monday. Afternoon wind comes from the west and northwest in summer, so units go east of the tent.
September evenings at this elevation drop into the 30s, which is when couples choose a heated trailer.
Trailers need level ground, a hose bib and a 110V outlet within 100 feet; most Sisters ranches have both at the barn. Wedding page.
Sisters neighborhoods and communities we serve
Units go to in-town subdivisions on the city sewer, to Black Butte Ranch and Tollgate on septic west of town, and to ranch venues along both highways.

Questions people ask us before they book
Do you deliver to Black Butte Ranch?
Black Butte Ranch is on the Sisters route. The gatehouse needs the homeowner or event name on file; give dispatch the contact and we call ahead.
Can we get a trailer to a ranch off Highway 126?
Ranch venues between Sisters and Redmond on 126 are on the same route. Send a photo of the parking spot and the distance to water and power.
Do we need a City of Sisters permit for a backyard wedding?
Not on private property. Events on city streets or parks need the Ordinance 500 permit, tiered by attendance.
How early should we book for the Quilt Show weekend?
Six to eight weeks. The second weekend of July is the tightest date on the Sisters route.
Is Camp Sherman served in winter?
The Camp Sherman road off US-20 is plowed, so monthly units there run all winter with antifreeze. McKenzie Pass venues on 242 are summer only.
