How delivery to Tumalo works
Tony Rental Works treats Tumalo as part of the Bend west route: same-day delivery when you call before noon, no short-route charge. Tumalo is a rural unincorporated community under Deschutes County Code 18.67 with no community sewer, so every home and ranch is on a DEQ-approved onsite septic system. The ZIP changed from 97701 to 97703 in 2015.
Use 97703 on the quote form.
Gravel driveways and ranch gates are the norm. A 26-foot service truck needs a turnaround or a straight drive; tell dispatch where the truck can park and we place the unit within 15 feet of it.
Farms, ranches and horse events
Oregon OSHA rule 437-004-1110 requires one toilet and one handwashing facility for every 20 agricultural workers, within a quarter-mile or five-minute walk, with potable water in single-use cups. Tumalo hay, cattle and horse operations rent a standard unit and a Bravo hand wash station on a 28-day cycle during irrigation season, April to October.
Horse shows and ranch weddings on Tumalo Reservoir Road and Cline Falls Highway follow the event planning on our event page; gatherings over 500 on private land need a Deschutes County outdoor mass gathering permit with one toilet per 100 persons.
Tumalo State Park
Tumalo State Park on the Deschutes River has about 23 full-hookup sites, 50-plus tent sites, seven yurts, two seasonal group camps and two group picnic areas. Group hosts who need extra units for a reunion or wedding at the group areas arrange permission with the park office first.
With that confirmation we deliver to the group site on the west route.
